Description
Tucked away in South Shore, just a short stroll from Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the seafront, The Corona Hotel is a solid choice if you’re after somewhere stylish, spotless, and welcoming.
Run by Richard and Gary, this year marks 25 years of them doing things properly — warm hosts, attention to detail, and a stay that feels genuinely looked after.
It’s a family-run place with a good reputation and plenty of regulars who come back year after year – always a good sign.
Inside, it’s a 1930s Art Deco building that’s been brought up to date with modern comforts. There are 22 en-suite rooms, all smartly done up, with Wi-Fi, wall-mounted TVs, and thoughtful extras like biscuits, tea, and coffee. Some rooms are great for families, with space to spread out after a day on the beach.
Breakfast gets great reviews – freshly cooked, with veggie options too – and while they don’t offer full evening meals, they do offer light bites and snacks during busier times.
There’s a licensed bar if you fancy a quiet drink before heading out, and they’re known for their relaxed, friendly service.
If you book directly with them by phone, there’s limited on-site parking available – otherwise, there’s free street parking around the area.
